The Sterling Acrylix range was designed as a vegan alternative to the classic hog brush. These oil brushes mimic the feel of natural hairs with a stiff synthetic nylon that gives the artist the control and precision that they need. Our blend of hair allows for an excellent snap and spring, and its colour makes it easy for artists to see the colour of the paint being applied more effectively.
The short flat hair is great for colour blocks and painting straight edges. These brushes feature a longer handle to allow for expressive/dynamic strokes and keep the artist at a distance from the painting.
