The white hairs allow artists to see the colour of paint being applied more clearly to help with colour mixing and theory, and the synthetic fibres can hold plenty of water while remaining durable and hard wearing to withstand frequent use.
The fan shaped brush head can be used in multiple ways such as creating soft blending, lifting colours from the paper or creating special effects like grasses and trees. With the softer hairs, this works great for watercolour and gouache painting.
